Cody earned a spot as a forward with the Thunderbirds in his first season as a Midget player and comes to the program from the Peninsula Minor Hockey Association. He is a Grade 10 student at Parklands Secondary School. His recent career highlights include having served as Captain of his Bantam AA team in 2008-09 and Assistant Captain in 2007-08 and earning a spot with the Island's U16 team in the 2009 BC Best Ever program. He is working hard to achieve his goal to make it to the WHL in the years ahead. His NHL heroes are Sidney Crosby and Guy Lafleur.
