Ryan is enjoying his first year of Major Midget hockey and he is proud to have played his entire minor hockey for the Juan De Fuca Minor Hockey Association. A hard hitting skilled defenseman, he prides himself on making good decisions. Ryan’s goals include playing Junior A and to obtain a NCAA Scholarship. He attends Belmont High School in Langford BC; he is a very good student with solid grades. One of Ryan’s fondest hockey experiences was in 2005 when his team, coached by former NHL player Len Barrie, went to the Bantam AAA Provincials. Ryan enjoys going to the gym regularly, and in the off-season he plays roller hockey to help keep his skills sharp.
